At the open of trading in Palestine Exchange (PEX), Al-Quds index declined slightly losing 0.02 point to 522.52 after it closed yesterday at 522.54 points. The main index declined by 0.01% losing 0.03 point to 279.59 points after closing yesterday at 276.62 points.
Total of 54.7 thousand shares were traded through 37 transactions at a turnover of %124 thousand. These transactions were executed by 11 companies, 3 rose, 3 declined, and 5 unchanged.
The top three gainers were The National Bank which rose by 0.9%, Palestine Islamic Bank which rose by 0.8% and Palestine Development and Investment which increased by 0.61%.
The top three losers were Jerusalem Pharmaceuticals Co which declined by 3.19%, Al Wataniah Towers Co which plunged by 2.8% and Wataniya Palestine Mobile Telecommunications which decreased by 1.2%.
Banking sector led Al-Quds index up 0.02% at yesterday session’s close to 522.54 points gaining 0.10 point, and the main index also increased by 0.02% gaining 0.04 point and closed at 276.62 points.
